The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress (Congressional Award Board of Directors) gives the Horizon Award a special recognition. The Horizon Award is presented to people in the private sector who have helped in expanding possibilities for all Americans by their personal contribution, and are exemplary for young people through their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a fantastic co-player, grateful to be part of such a skilled and experienced groupof players, practicing and playing hard whenever his Magnum schedule allowed. .... He was kind to us all, and we enjoyed the large crowd that replaced our typical couple of spouses and friends at the national tourney games. ".
