According to reports, Prince William attended an event where Kate Middleton wore a transparent dress. This sparked his fascination. By 2003, they had begun to date. Middleton was roommate with Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. In the middle of this year, Kate Middleton began to be harassed by media sources. This led to many people to threaten legal enforcement. Due to unknown reasons, Kate and William split in 2007. Rumours circulated that the couple had reconnected not long afterwards.
