Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and former supermodel. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is evident in her lengthy career as a performer and actress. In the 70s the model began her career and quickly established herself as one of the top actors in the industry. She studied acting and theatre at the start of the decade. She then appeared on stage shows at Los Angeles, and other areas of California. Her first screen appearance was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable In the show, she played Eden Kendell. Rose Namajunas, one of the most well-known female UFC athletes, is an extremely successful athlete. She began as an amateur, fighting in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her on and later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since her entry into the UFC, she has gained a name in the sport due her achievements both inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas is born June 29, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player as a child. At 18 years old she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships in which she fought two times through submission. Dana White, who was paying close attention to her at the moment, signed her in the UFC strawweight division to fight in December 2014; she had just turned 22. Rose has been through highs & lows during her professional career. But she has always been a winner. Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted less than three minutes in the round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time women had ever competed on a level of championships in a major promotional organization worldwide. Namajunas had several successful fights following her win that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night recognition from UFC.
